Warrior Inked Childhood Cancer Awareness was founded by Lorenzo Gallo, a man who knows firsthand what it means to fight. A 9/11 first responder and cancer survivor, Lorenzo has faced some of life’s toughest battles and emerged stronger, more determined, and committed to making a difference.

After serving at Ground Zero in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks, Lorenzo, like many of his fellow first responders, was diagnosed with cancer due to toxic exposure. His personal fight for survival gave him a deeper understanding of the physical, emotional, and financial toll that comes with battling a life-threatening illness.

Lorenzo’s journey inspired him to create Warrior Inked, a movement dedicated to supporting the smallest and bravest warriors—children fighting cancer. Through Tattoos for a Cause, he brings together tattoo artists, sponsors, and supporters to raise funds for pediatric cancer research, family assistance, and awareness campaigns.

Under Lorenzo’s leadership, Warrior Inked is more than a charity—it’s a community of fighters, survivors, and advocates who believe in turning ink into impact. His mission is to ensure that no child fights alone and that families facing childhood cancer receive the support, hope, and resources they need.
